Lance Poston is Director of Institutional Inclusion and Community Engagement in the Office of the Vice President for Institutional Diversity at the University of Kentucky. In this capacity, he oversees inclusion and belonging focused initiatives across the University that support students, faculty, staff, and alumni. His daily work is informed by his graduate training as an interdisciplinary scholar of US gender, sexuality, and race. In addition to his work at the University, Lance is active in the broader Lexington community as a city commissioner for human rights and an active member of First Presbyterian Church.

I joined the Town Branch Partners because of my deep love for our city and belief that a new world-class park will help us continue to create new civic dialogues and build new senses of community in the Heart of the Bluegrass.
