LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A $1.2 million gift will help Lexington build an amphitheater which will have enough space for 5,000 people.
The city announced Picnic With The Pops made the donation for the amphitheater, which will be located at Town Branch Park. The park will be on a 10-acre site near Rupp Arena, and the amphitheater will be the permanent home of the concert event.
