Town Branch Park Construction
Town Branch Park officially moved into its construction phase following the exciting project groundbreaking held on August 15, 2023. The construction phase for the signature 10-acre park is anticipated to take roughly two years. Through a competitive bid process, Dean Builds (www.deanbuilds.com), was retained as the Park’s general contractor. Town Branch Park is projected to open to the public in mid-to-late 2025. Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government West High Street and Manchester Street Construction
Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has an infrastructure project under construction to 1.) improve pedestrian access and safety from High Street and 2.) to construct an entry into the Town Branch Park. The City of Lexington and its contractor, Marrillia Construction (www.marrillia.com), are overseeing these roadway and access improvements in the public right-of-way. The City of Lexington will post general construction updates on this webpage, and lane closures are listed on the Traffic Ticker.
